Our Staff
It is often said that staff are an organisation’s greatest asset and that is absolutely true at Allnatt. Led by the Board of Directors, each Venue is managed by the Centre Manager, supported by an experienced Management Team.

Each year we recruit an additional team of staff to provide both teaching and hospitality services. All staff adhere to the Code of Practice of the Institute for Outdoor Learning and we support staff to achieve their APIOL qualification (Accredited Practitioner).

Staff Training is intensive and on-going with senior staff following a programme of continuous professional development and we particularly support internal promotion where possible.

Swanage

staff

Leah is the centre manager at the Swanage Centre and is now in her ninth year there. Working to ensure the smooth running of the centre as a whole she stays remarkably calm!

Supporting Leah is the deputy manager Michelle, when Leah is away Michelle takes the lead. Always busy she particularly enjoys working with our overseas groups and is head of field studies and marketing.

Emily is one of two senior tutors and being born in the area she is a fountain of knowledge for all things local. When not teaching she can be found designing our brochures and creating our wonderful display boards. Emily can currently be found residing on the Isle of Wight until July.

Jez is the senior tutor concentrating on the outdoor activity side of things. As well as developing new activities he has been busy project managing the ongoing improvements to the centre and general maintenance issues. Also Hovis the dog's chief carer.

Lucy

This year we have two returning tutors, Lucy (left) and Nikki (right). Being the exemplary role models that they are, our seasonal tutors have high standards to live up to.

Nikki

Every year we take on a number of seasonal staff who are vital to the success of the centre. This year we have Zoe, Sam, Rahul, Amrita, Fiona, Ruth, Gemma and Kat joining us.

Seasonal staff

Hidden away in an office somewhere, Matt (one of our directors) and Louise are busy making sure all things related to paper work and money are taken care of – an indispensable part of the team.

If at any point you have called the centre, chances are you will have spoken to Marilyn who is in charge of reception. We keep trying to get a photo, but she moves so quickly we have so far not been able to catch her, we’ll keep trying!

Taking care of keeping us all fed and watered are Wes, Karen, Charmaine and Ben supported by their own band of seasonal staff. They do a wonderful job of making the food tasty as well as nutritious which keeps us all fuelled up and ready to go.

If you see a bearded man tending to the flower bed, that'll be Bob, who keeps on top of the maintenance at our centre. This includes everything from gardening to fixing showers.

Last but definitely not least is Marcin and his house keeping staff. These guys do an awesome job of keeping the centre clean and tidy. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Isle Of Wight

All our new staff  are now settling in with our experienced and established staff to form an inspirational team for 2010. As always they have undergone intensive Induction Training and Group Shadowing and are now adding their own particular skills and passions to our Teaching Programmes. We welcome them all on board and look forward to telling you more about them as individuals, as time moves on. We will also be introducing you to Hovis....
