Adventure Activities Licence
Licence Number: L6607/R0473
Valid From: 12th June 2007 to 12th June 2009
Currently we only operate activities which are within the scope of the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority at our Swanage Centre. Holding this licence means that we have been inspected by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) and that out risk analysis and management systems were found to be, at least, satisfactory.

Staff Competence and Qualifications
All staff will have been CRB Checked (Criminal Records Bureau) to enhanced level; will either hold a relevant National Governing Body (NGB) Qualification, or a statement of competence signed by an appropriately experienced and qualified person, consistent with the requirements of Local education Authorities (LEA).
Copies will be available, for inspection, on site.
Child Protection
Our policy is consistent with current good practice in this area and meets current statutory requirements.
Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks are carried out on all staff.
Supervision when not engaged in activities
Overnight supervision is the responsibility of the visiting group leader.
The Allnatt Centre Duty Manager is on call overnight for emergencies. A mobile telephone number will be given to the group leader in order to contact the Duty Manager should an emergency arise.

This is an ongoing process. Written evidence is available on site for inspection.

Fire Protection
Both Centres are adequately equipped for Fire Safety. Both Centres are regularly visited by the Fire Officer.
A Fire Drill is carried out for every group on the day of their arrival.
Equipment
All specialist equipment is inspected regularly and is fit for its purpose.
Records of all equipment checks are available on site for inspection.
Security Arrangements
The security of our guests is a priority.
Outside doors are locked at night and a Duty Manager is on call for emergencies. The Duty Manager will inform the group leader when doors have been secured for the night. Staff are also trained to be vigilant at all times and to challenge any unknown persons on site.
