The Linguistic Activity Programme mostly operates during the Easter and Summer periods. We combine conversational English, with a wide range of activities to challenge and provide new skills plus a recreational programme. The activities are chosen to increase self confidence and this transfers to the use of language.
The Cultural Ministay is aimed at schools bringing children for their first educational experience of the English culture. It uses the environment to focus the children’s interests and inspires their use of conversational language as they discover the area they are visiting. The programme uses games and exercises to introduce language skills needed for the afternoon activities.
The Environmental Discovery Programme is aimed at school children with a basic knowledge of the English language. It uses the environment to focus the children’s interest and inspire their use of conversational English. Their natural curiosity about the environment is encouraged and they use language naturally and enthusiastically as they explore a new place. to balance the lessons we have an excellent range of activities. There is a heated swimming pool on site, table tennis tables and access to a football pitch so there is plenty to keep young people occupied. During the evenings we put on activities ranging from a disco or cabaret night to a relaxing dvd night.
