At East Dene on the Isle of Wight, we have a wonderful family holiday venue in an inspirational location overlooking the sea.
Through our own personal experience we recognize the wonderful opportunity for families living with autism and related behaviours to have a relaxing holiday together in a supportive environment without judgment or discrimination.
From 2 families in 2005, our unique programme is growing and growing and becoming more and more popular.
Excellent Facilities and Services
The Centre is tucked away in the beautiful village of Bonchurch. It has a clear boundary and is away from roadways. We have a variety of sizes of Family Rooms all with wash basins and some with their own shower. We fully understand the importance of creating the right atmosphere for enjoyable meal times and provide a wide range of choice - or the same thing every day if it helps!
Each day we provide an optional programme of activities from swimming in the heated outdoor pool to trampoline, T shirt design, games in the woods, campfires and barbecues. We especially enjoy seeing all the family participate together.
The Inclusion Zone provides a safe play area with a variety of play equipment. The DVD is always at the ready for the favourite film. Whilst you hold ultimate responsibility for your family at all times we try to provide you with as much support as possible and we aim to get to know your family as soon as we can so that we can best meet your needs. There is a beautiful lounge overlooking the sea where we hope you will be able to relax and unwind.
