This highly innovative programme dispels the notion that Outdoor Education is confined to physical activity and a hands on approach gives each child a real empathy with the different habitats that we work in.
We achieve this through playing educational games which introduce new ideas and skills through the medium of play. The children will have a great time and will be learning lots in a very different way from being in the classroom.
All the time whilst in the outdoors, they will be building up an appreciation and respect for their surroundings, which hopefully will inspire a different outlook from them. As with all our programmes there is a lot of emphasis on team work and this one is no different, we believe it is a vital life skill and continually work with the groups to improve their team spirit.
The activities available on this programme can include Trailblazing through coastal, grassland, heathland and sand dune environments, sustainable survival skills, team building exercises, sunset walk, creating environmental art and lots more.
Every evening there will be events to reflect and build upon what was learnt during the day such as sensory awakening activities, campfire and a celebration on the final evening.
