The Outdoor Adventure Programme is designed primarily for Year 6 and aims to provide a careful balance between risk and adventure using outdoor activities in a range of natural habitats to develop self confidence and teamwork..

PROGRAMME MODULES

  • Orientation to ensure the physical and emotional safety and welfare of each child and adult.
  • A diversity of Adventurous Activities to develop Personal Skills and build Self Esteem.
  • Water Sports (Isle of Wight) High and Low Ropes Course (Swanage).
  • Climbing and Abseiling at Dancing Ledge (Swanage).
  • Water Skills, Raft Building and Pioneering.
  • Themed Team Building Tasks to encourage children to work together and for each other.
  • Bushcraft and Survival Skills with a Night Navigation Challenge.
  • An exciting Expedition for an amazing sense of Team Achievement.
