Our Field Study courses are based on the classic fieldwork sites around Swanage, within Purbeck and the Jurassic Dorset Coast including Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Kimmeridge. With a full demand for these by our regular partner schools, we are now developing courses on the Isle of Wight too. Our method of teaching encourages students to think for themselves and provides opportunities to practice fieldwork and data collection techniques. The underlying success of all our courses is the sense of realism, excitement and an experience which can never be generated by textbooks alone. In addition we can include related outdoor activities such as climbing and abseiling or night navigation to add motivation and fun.

Each programme type fits its own set of objectives and has its own style of teaching. Once the programme has been selected we work with you to input the module choices.

For each programme a comprehensive workbook is provided for each student and there is access to a suite of computers for data input. Our tutors are passionate about the classic Field Study areas they work in and thoroughly enjoy inspiring students in the same way.
